No matter how long you’ve been away from Smith, there’s a vibrant community of Smithies here in the Philadelphia area who would love for you to join in! The Smith College Club of Philadelphia is vital to fostering alumnae connections and brings you a variety of engaging events all year round.
If you would like to join the Smith College Club of Philadelphia or renew your membership, now is the time! Our membership year runs from July 1 to June 30.

- Recent alums (2008-2013): only $5!
Our club is 100% volunteer-run and we rely on membership dues to cover many of our expenses. Recently, dues covered the costs of some amazing free club events:
- An Evening With Congresswoman Niki Tsongas, ’68
- Global Distinguished Lecture featuring Oscar-winning documentary filmmaker, Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy, ’02
- Tea and “Smith Through the Decades” Alumnae Panel at Pennswood Village
Your membership dues also help us send care packages to current students, host an annual send-off for accepted students in the area, and present local high school juniors with book awards. Additionally, members receive a discount on any of our ticketed events.
