The Smith College Club of Philadelphia invites Philadelphia-area alumnae and their guests to our annual faculty speaker event! Professor Ginetta Candelario, Professor of Sociology and of Latin American & Latino/a Studies, will speak on Sunday, March 10th at 3:00 p.m. at Art Sanctuary (628 S. 16th Street, Philadelphia, PA 19146). Professor Candelario will present ‘From Pin Curls to Perms’ and her work on race and U.S. beauty culture.
