Care Packages
Join the Smith College Club of Philadelphia for a special care package assembly event on Saturday, Nov 7, at 2pm! This is a wonderful opportunity to come together with fellow Smithies at the home of Emma Kornberg ’22 (Chestnut Hill neighborhood) to prepare and send care packages to current students. Enjoy a relaxed, social atmosphere while helping to spread cheer. All materials and supplies will be provided, and participants are welcome to bring additional items to include in the packages.

Elizabeth Stordeur Pryor Author Event
Join fellow Smithies to hear Elizabeth Stordeur Pryor, Smith professor of history, speak about her new book, Something We Said! Part memoir by the daughter of the iconic comedian Richard Pryor, part exploration of the historical and contemporary use of the N-word, this hybrid book peels back the curtain on the life of Pryor and interrogates the most perplexing word in the American lexicon, a word he helped to popularize.
